morpheus20170
I want to put my bike back to how it should be. What are your thoughts on pattern parts over OEM, i.e. Radiator and Stator? Had my stator rewound and had a new reg/rec from Electrex World but I still had problems. I had a very small hole in my radiator which I plugged with K-Seal in radiator fluid but although it's not leaking I'm not happy.

Member Contributer Cogswell Posted December 28, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted December 28, 2014 It sounds like you have to an extent answered your own question. If the aftermarket suppliers you have used have not been satisfactory then a change is needed. At least OEM parts are sure to fit and are of known quality. As for radiators, I'm not familiar with any non-OEM products. If the repair quote is high, there are usually ample available used on ebay.
TNRabbit
any sealant do you use in your radiator or cooling system is going to coat the entire system and reduce its efficiency.
morpheus20170
Thanks everyone and Happy New Year. I think I'm going to try an OEM Stator and Radiator and Jack's (Roadstercycle) Super kit with the FH020 MOSFET RR.
