Thinking about a run to The Hill Country and doing the sisters on July 4th weekend. Hopefully not a scorcher.

I'm in! Never been but really want to go. I've been to Leakey many times in a cage to map some water caves but this sounds like too much fun. I realize these dates have already passed but am anxious to take the next trip. Coming from Austin. Where to stay/meet?

Those of you that have never been there should take him up on his offer. It's a GREAT run.

I might not be doing the sisters this year, because of Sum Sum, but next time I go I will post up.

One of the best rides you have ever done. I do it on a fairly regular basis. The 3 sisters are great roads, but certainly also take the 16 between Kerrville and Medina.

Some website warned that this road is only suitable for experienced riders, so heck, i needed to know. Well, it is a blast, not hard at all, gorgeous winding, good view, scenery is great.

I guess every road becomes a challenge if you have more then 80HP and no brains. Just ride. It is gorgeous.
