After the installation of akrapovic to tne vfr1200 FA

Does anyone know if we need any remapping or resetting after installing the akrapovis exhaust?Or just install the akra and ride?

Nothing being mentioned in the installation guide.....

But since I do not own a fuel-injected bike, I have no knowledge either way.

No need to remap - its built for it, its just a slip on anyway. The akropovic even uses the stock cable system to actuate an exhaust valve I believe.

putting a differnt slip on does not require mapping but I bet the 1200vfr comes alive when air flow and enriching, remapping, are done. I know my other bikes have seemed like different bikes after completing a Stage 1, increasing air flow into, enriching the feul air mixture, and opening up the exhaust but then I'd probaly get 80 miles out of a tank of gas.

There is no need to remap but installing a PC-V and a remap will give you lots of torque low down and some extra top end power.

Thank you guys for the replies.I just installed the akrapovic carbon slip on today without the baffle.But during my short run to home,I decided to get installed the baffle back.Because its sound disturbed me alot.I installed the baffle back it sounds better than without the baffle.
