Just order the lens from a 2006 or newer VFR, and swap with yours. They clip on. If you have trouble finding the orange bulbs, there is a special spray paint available at most auto parts stores made for tinting bulbs.

I installed the 06 lenses front and rear... along with LEDs.

Ordered the parts from servicehonda.com... fronts are about $25 each if I recall. Rear is expensive, about $250. For LEDs, I had to buy a new turn signal relay from customdynamics.com to keep it from blinking fast.

They are stock on 08s. I'm not sure about other years. Just buy the clear LEDs that light up amber. :squid:

Since you have front running lite/signals, I have two extra sets of these.

The first uses load equalizers: http://superlumination.com/images/leds/load_equalizer.jpg

The 'switchbacks' need a digital flashing relay: http://www.customdynamics.com/trick_flashe...ard_DOT_Flasher

I don't have an extra relay, but I have the rest. :pissed:

Also, check Ebay for the taillight. Not a huge chance, but I just missed out on one for $137 by $2! :squid:

PM if interested.

Greg :squid:

All I did with mine, was take some lens paint that you can get for car tail lights. Polished them to get them good and smooth, rubbed them down with varsol to clean them. Sprayed them with the lens paint, like 4 coats I think I went (I wanted them black as black could be) them I just got a spray can of clear coat for the body shop, and sprayed them with that.

Turned out a whole lot better than I ever thought they could :pissed:

This villager is demanding pictures, and a link for the mentioned lens paint, because this sounds interesting.

Now keep in mind here, the bike is slighty apart, but here is the front end

Close up of the side

And a pic of the can of stuff I used

From what I have heard, it either is or soon will be unavailable in Canada.

I bet you get this a lot, but why make your bike less visible?

Do you have any pics of the signals lit up? I'm curious how visible they really are.

Personally, I like the clear lenses only on a black, white or silver VFR. I think the standard amber looks better on all other colors.
