My favourite looking bike on earth is the VTR 1000 SP2 i want to update the look of my VFR into something more sporty. any push in the right direction is helped! Rather than actually change out the fairing, maybe try paint and stickers, applied to your current VFR bodywork--or cheap duplicates. Modifying one bike's plastic to fit another model sounds like a nightmare. The RC-51 is shaped quite differently than the VFR, and has different mounting points, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Painting the 800's panels will -for me- be "meh.. .wannabee" "close but no cigar" Chinese panels are quite cheap; I bought a (2nd hand) set in OEM livery and a decal set. A rattlecan with "Fallschirmjäger Grün" paint did the job under the seat. Chinese fairing get bad press online; I doubt if all "experts" have actually done serious miles or speeds with them...
