This is the same manual that is already available here on VFRD. I have been using this so much lately that I went ahead and made it a little more useful for myself. I assumed that some other members might like to have it as well. Combined both files into one. Optimized the file size so that it is only 60 MB. Ran OCR text recognition to enable text searches on the entire book. Rotated pages that had landscape page diagram for ease of viewing. Created bookmarks for each chapter & sub-chapters. I figured this was the least I could do to contribute since I am getting so much help from this forum. -
I have a 1998 VFR800 with a clean non-op title. I bought it from someone who didn't disclose it had head gasket issues, so it has been sitting for a few years since I discovered that. It has ~35,000 miles on it and the battery is dead. The cool part is this bike came with the desirable Wolf Brothers under seat exhaust. While the bike ran it sounded incredible. I also have a print version of the factory workshop manual. Let me know if you have any questions. Lets start at $2500 OBO. I am located in Bakersfield, CA.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get/buy an eBook version of the service manual? Not one of those rip off photocopied manuals, I have one of those, and the images are almost useless (basically big black blobs)... unless someone has a copy where the images are detailed and descriptive? I'm not a fan of the old school paperback, these things need to move on with the times!

I just received the service manual for the 2014/15 VFR 800. If anyone needs info let me know.

I just purchased a 2010 VFR800. Just wondering where I put the manual?!? I've tried fitting it under the seat under the rubber cord thing, and I just can't get it to fit. That's where it fits on all my other bikes, yet, just can't do it on the VFR. I don't want to be stuck somewhere without the manual. What does everyone else do?

Hey guys, I have a question about cleaning the carburetors on my 83. On the manual wish you would see in a picture below, manual shows the front two cylinders are #2 and 4 which i agree with on the walkthrough posted on anther topic. When you reference the picture posted in the walk through it does not match the manual as far as which cylinders are number two and four respectively. This may be confusing, only because I am confused at the moment, but please see the pictures below and notice I engraved the caps with the cylinder number and advise if I have the correct order. Thank you Ps the first picture of of my service manual. The second is my cleaned carbs The third is the designated locations for each carb as per the walkthrough

¡¡HOLA!! Would anyone happen to know the password that Adobe Acrobat asks for when accessing the 6th gen workshop manual (offered in the download section, which is the same one offered in my signature) with pdf editing software?? I'm trying to add markers and run it through text recognition (OCR), so it's easier to use and look for certain key words or points in, etc. using Adobe Acrobat Pro... but it asks for a password, which whoever created the pdf file must have programmed in.

Hi all, Since VFR1200 is not sold where I live, the dealers here could not answer my question. Can someone confirm if the speedometer on the manual VFR1200 can be installed on the DCT model or not. Thanks.

On the relays themselves it indicates "12V NO" (normally open)... and I have checked with multimeter and there IS continuity when they are energized... so the headlight circuit is closed (connected) with the ignition ON. My lo beams don't work. My hi beams do. If I swap the relays over it's ídem, ditto, the same; hi beams work, lo beams don't. The lo beam's relay does close the circuit when energized (key to ON). There is continuity to ground for the Green earth wire from the plug at the bulb (via the big blue connector; I have futureproofed the green wire running through this connector with a bridging wire or bypass, together with running a reinforcing wire to an alternative grounding point on the chassis). 12 Volts are supplied to the lo beam relay when ignition is ON, as checked via multimeter. Will continue checking for continuity where it should be... etc.

I have been approached about the idea of a manual fan control that would allow you to: Turn the fan on early turn the fan off (to reduce power draw) allow normal mode Another feature requested would be indicator lights that would show: What status is selected If the fan is turned off but the bike wants it on (blinking LED etc)...could even be audible alarm What I am trying to determine is if there is interest in this on a wider scale. I have never felt the need to change how my fan operates but i spend little time in heavy traffic and I don't do track days or other cases that are different. My bike rarely runs hot although I have considered a manual "on" switch for the summer in the past. Another outstanding question is....self powered or bike powered. I could personally go either way...the default operaton (even with the unit off) would be for the fan to operate as normal....so no harm if the battery dies on a self powered unit. Feedback?
