  1. I really love those "bacon slicer" engines!
  2. Brembo does a thumb operated brake cylinder, might be worth checking out.
  3. Take a better look, there's rc26, rc36, rc46-1, r46-2 and rc79 available on cycle-ergo.
  4. Only one way to find out! I had a 3th gen and I still have a 5th gen and an 8th gen (allthough that is a crossrunner). My favorite engine is the 8th gen vtec, but some people don't like them. Vtec transition is smooth-ish, but you really have to try yourself. As for power, the 3th and 8th aren't far apart.
  5. I wouldn't mind getting an 8th gen engine in my 5th gen.....
  6. Sacrificing the longevity of all the bearings, cilinderlining, pistonrings etc. just for the clutch sounds like a good plan to you? I tried all kinds of oils in all kinds of bikes and never noticed any difference. I try to stick to the api standard the manufacturer suggest (been taught to do so at nautical college), but I accidentely put some used deepfry oil in an engine ones, it still worked for a long time.
  7. Well done Dutchy, proud of you!
  8. That is a very crappy average speed, you must be getting old 😘
  9. One owner since 2011, according to dutch registration office.
  10. So you ran out of fuel twice in one year.......iets met een ezel en een steen. ;-)

    Music anyone?

+1 for the sing as you ride!
  12. And there's not even valves inside
  13. Me, me, me! First up: the lovely MZ etz251, 21bhp of DDR loveliness. Second: an MZ Skorpion traveller. 660cc engine from Yamaha. Third: another 660, this time a Yamaha XT660Z Ténéré. And last but not least: an MZ Skorpion cupracer.
