  1. I saw this posted on another forum (guy called tin-tin). It sounds like a great idea given that no one can get their hands on the 8 pin Honda connector. What do you think? "I know that the 8 pin gps connector is hard to find but the pins in the harness cant be too special I would think. has anyone ever just done the conversion at the pin level with a couple of extra 3 pin connectors that take the same pin size as the OEM 8 pin and just make a separate 3 pin jumper harness. I didnt do it this way because I dont have an extended warranty but I would think this would work. I guess if I have to take it back for warranty in the couple months i have left, I would probably just cut all the wires for the gps harness and repin the connector. I doubt anyone would notice that the harness was half an inch shorter. I dont know. just kind of brainstorming."
  2. It's not that bad, really. Now, my 6th gen, that it another story altogether.
  3. Nice write up HS. I've got mine apart this week too for the same reason. All my exhaust vavles were out of spec too, some by a fair margin. Three of the intakes were right on the money an one was .01mm off.
  4. I believe it. In my experience, the PCV dramatically alters the low to mid rpm feel of the bike, and, my butt dyno tells me ( :) ) power. So I have no doubt the Bazzazz unit will too, even with just fuel alterations. Out of the factory the bike is fuelled for economy/emissions, not performance. I will be fitting a z-bomb when it's available as well.

    Beautiful bike.
  6. Oh man, I have no idea where to find those connectors but I'd pay good money to someone who does! :). That would be awesome.

Best looking VFR ever. I never get tired of seeing this bike Toro. Awesome work. Would love to see it roar by me in real life too.
  13. Hey Jamie, is that my shock? I didn't realize I was the first. I just picked it up yesterday from the office (where it was delivered...i was on holiday). The extension you made looks really top notch. Can't wait to install it and go for a ride (likely will do it this week). I'll post up my thoughts after I do it.
