  1. The throttle bodies, have 4 more holes under the butterflies too. Mine is CA model.
  2. I have it on my right disc. I think its not a big deal. There is only clicking and the mechanic told me it is ok. I'll leave them for now and when i find some cash I'll throw new rotors and pads. Mohawk do you use standard front end?
  3. I just got the bike from the shop. The guy did a great job and there is no bend in the carrier now. I have a new blue brake fluid too :P
  4. I'll see what the mechanic did, and if it is unrepairable i'll look for a second hand. There are a few places around to check first. Thanks guys :)
  5. Are you sure about the F4i? Partsfishe says, only the 1999-2000 f4s are compatible.
  6. The bike is at a friends mechanics shop. He told me that it is even visible where the bend is. He also said it is on the carrier, not the rotor. I've seen a few videos of disks being bent back, but i'm not sure, how long will it last that way. He said that he will bend it back as far as possible, but the bend is too much and is good to have it replaced. If you know someone from europe, who is selling a spare disk i would be glad to take it :P
  7. Hey guys, i had a lay down with the bike a few months ago. I fixed everything, or at least thats what i thought. There was a vibration while braking, so after a check it appears that the left brake disk is bent. Both disks have 4,5 mm thickness, so do you think i can get only one new disk, or can i get a second hand? They are damn too expensive new, so i was hoping to get a second hand. Of course it will be checked for thickness and bends, but what do you think? Here is the bike with the new paint (i decided to change the silver with the darker one)
  8. Thanks guys, i saw one small but good looking bag for the tail and a friend of mine ordered it. It is a full shit. It tear off on her first ride. The thing now is that after putting, tools, cables and a medical pack under the tail i have left with enough space for the chain oiler. Maybe i'll stick with the backpack for now.
  9. One thing i could think of is bad ground point for the coils. You mentioned 23 and 24 error codes. The o2 sensors are grounded to the same point as the coils, so it could be this. Other option is bad spark plugs and they could f**k your coils and battery.
  10. Thanks for the idea Dutchi, i was thinking about black The road is little polished asfalt, with little dust. So might be not only my fault I will check the bike very carefully in the weekend, i already ordered a second hand clipon, and i plan to weld the footpeg until i get a new one. The fairings will be welded so i can ride till the end of the season, and the winter project is going to be new plastics and paint.
  11. Thanks guys for the support. Yes the bike hit the curb, thats why the handlebar is bend down. I'll look for a shop to check the frame, but i'm not sure i'll find one. As for the baby, i just still cant imagine how much gear i have to buy The good news are, the doc said HER heart beats like AC/DC, so a good future generation is comming
  12. Ooh I have considered some updates :p We are expecting a baby soon so the bike will wait a little, but a new colour is in my my mind, as well as suspension upgrades and PC5.
  13. Yeah this is a big problem here, a lot of sand and salt is used in the winter and then from the side of the road it constantly goes inside the lanes.
  14. Hello guys id like to tell you a short story. Dont think you can ride like Rossi I was in the end of a short 60-70 mile trip yesterday and was feeling great on the bike. The corners were perfect, the road too, just a little dusty. There was some traffic, but not that bad. I was leaning in a left corner, took one chik out of the seat, lowered the knee and then went down The footpeg hitting the ground and lifted the rear wheel, so there was nothing i could do. There was no pain or drama. I got up, checked the legs and hands, took of the helmet and stared at the sad looking bike. The speed was low, around 40-50 mph, so no damage to me, the gear took the hit. Now i need to find some replacement parts, and also i dont have insurance covering this kind of accidents. If you know someone breaking i vtec in the uk, let me know. To be honest i'm not sorry, because i think that every biker goes down at some point, and i dont think this is bad. It is educating And remember, rossi is better Here are some pics
  15. I was hoping that the swingarm is the same as cb1000r but it ain't. I just love the way it look like.
  16. Is this ok?
  17. I'll do it, just give me a pic KanadianKen, and please explain what is KR

    Spark Plugs

Hey guys. Here is an update. I decided to check for ECM FI fault codes. I got (i think) number 1,2 and 9. Those are map sensor and airbox temp sensor errors. I did cleaned them, started the bike and let it work for a few mins. Checked for errors and all was clean. BUT, when i cleaned the kn air filter i did start the bike with these sensors unpluged so my guess is that is the reason for the fault codes. So do you know if the ECM goes in to some sort of safe mode and uses generic maps when there are some errors recorded like this? I'll put a video with the codes to check. Edit: here is the video https://youtu.be/xelxxtPirks

Yes, those temps are close to mine. If got in bad traffic i go to 223 and the fan kicks in. If i ride slower than 10 mph the temp goes to fan for less than 10 min. But what you say is interesting, because when i was riding in colder days, the temp was a little higher, or should i say was getting faster to these temps. Sooo, with warm weather and not enough oxygen for the bike, now it runs a little cooler. This might be a clue. Edit: Here is video, showing the rear tire spinning. The sound i'm talking is not very loud though. You can only hear a slight sound from the rear disk, but i'll try tomorrow with a different angle. Do you think the tire should stop rotating that easy?

Ok, so after another full tank i got ~23 mpg with very light throttle. This is only city miles. No Vtec rpms. I just think that there is something wrong with this bike. The temp goes to 140-150 F very easy, doesn't overheat, and keeps good temps while riding. I tried with 100 octane fuel with the last refill and the bike exhaust seem to pop less. No other difference. If you say that the plugs aint the problem, so i dont know what comes next One thing i noticed though was a sound from the rear while pushing the bike backwards. Like a pad or something is dragging. AAAAAND when i spin the tyre on the center stand i think that there is some resistence, because no matter how hard I spin the tyre, is makes only 1-2 full revolutions and stops. I'll do a video later today. I'll try to put it on a dino, and see what is the A/F ratio. New oil and filter tomorow. If the admin think, that the thread needs a better place, just move it.

These are the cheapest in ebay http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/221397412040?nav=SEARCH I'll finish the tank and see what is the effect with the clean filter. Btw i think the flapper and PAIR mods do work. I feel the bike smoother when i take off. The side effect is that i hear a pop from the exhausts from time to time.

I have cleaned the air filter yesterday. I also did the flapper and PAIR mods. Will do a few miles today and see how it feels. @SPUD786 I think the MPG is low too, also the bike is at 24k miles, so its not good. The O2 sensors are connected. What fuel cleaner do you use? @Swithcblade Thanks for the link mate, unfortunately they dont offer international shipping. But boy, those thing are cheap over there. @ V4 Rosso I just checked them, but they dont seem to offer this plug. @Beck Thanks mate, do you have any reference numbers, because i see only iridum plugs listed for the bike.

Well i found a set in ebay for around 60$ so i'll order them tomorrow. About the temps, yes the bike warms up quick an on high speeds it keeps 175-185. In the heavy city traffic it goes to 223 and the fan kicks in. I checked the fuel pressure regulator, but it is not leaking.

Ok guys thanks. I'll leave these for the winter and order a new set. Damn expensive plugs though. $120 for a set of 4 is a little too much. I hope they fix the mpg issue.

Ok, got it about the plugs. But for the gas, this is the lowest on the market. In our mesurement system the fuel with 95 octane is around 93 ot US spec. We also have 98, 100 and 100+ but it is too expensive. This is one of the reasons i was thinking about power comander, so i can tune the maps to the fuel.
