  1. Good info thx. Mine is CCT noise on VFR800. Is this a common problem for the 6th gen? Can that oil port gasket be changed on the 800 or just the 1200? Just wondering if I should fork over the $400 to mechanic to replace, or maybe just live with the noise? If I get Ducati jacket, is problem solved?
  2. Having same CCT with my 2007 as well, now at 26,000 miles. Once engine warms up above 160 degrees, tapping noise starts and goes intermittent. Can here it when stopped at lights, very annoying. Went to mechanic and he said no big deal, just wait till noise gets worse, then bring it in to replace. Can anyone confirm that CCT noise does not affect engine?? And if not, what hat is the noise/signal/indicator that it does need to be replaced??
  3. Very cool wedding photo, congrats!!
  4. Excellent pics and really enjoyed the write-up. Glad you guys had great weather and good riding here in the golden state!
  5. Yeah, I have about the same question. Currently have PP2 front and PR2 rear on my 2007. Gonna need to replace rear soon, thinking bump up to PR3 and leave front at PP2. Just wondering if anyone else has similar setup?
  6. Ditto on the gutted stock cans for the 2007. Did mine 20,000 miles ago, been lovin it ever since, great the V4 makes! Did not have to retune, gutting the cans probably added a few hp but also dropped the mpg slightly.
  7. Have 22k on my 2007, still with original oem front/rear pads. Rear are due to replace this month, front still have quite a ways till replacement due.
