  5. Some sweet jackets end up at the pawn shop.
  6. The line is cracked. Haven't found one yet. Any idea what I can do to rig something up ? The end from the petcock is a different diameter than the end that goes into the fuel filter.
  7. Wow ! I'd love to watch a GP race there.
  8. 52 pages WOW. I'd love to see the points taken away and the grid penalty removed too. That would set up some real season ending drama. I love the traveling circus.
  9. I think goof off is xylene. Let a professional car paint shop take care of it on the painters insurance. He will learn a lesson and your bike should look as good as it did before painting. There is lightweight plastic that painters use that should have been put over your bike after they asked permission. I'm a residential painter, plastic or dropcloths are cheaper than the time it takes to clean up a mess. The property owner of the project painted may have insurance liability. Talk to your insurance agent. p.s. dried paint and cured paint are two different things. Keep it out of the sun and get it taken care of quick. Good luck.
  10. 1405 s. 8th st. Omaha ne. 68108 do you have a paypal account so I can reimburse you for the postage ?
  11. I'm interested in the mirrors. My bike was stolen and dumped at least twice. I'm working on bringing it back to presentable. I'll happily pay the shipping for them.
  12. I did the msf on a 250. Bought a used cb750 that had been dropped a couple of times so didn't cry when I dropped it due to my inexperience. It weighs over 500 has a 4.5 gas tank so doesn't look like a small bike. I learned a bunch not the least of which was that I love to ride. I got a 94 vfr that I'm loving now so much that as soon as the race is over I'm going for a ride in the wet. I'm in Omaha and for 750 cash you can have the cb see if riding is for you and then get your money out of it and move on to something that will make you sad when you drop it. Honda wins again. Got to get a ride its like a religion to me every Sunday. Best of luck and be careful.
  13. It made me smile to see that somebody had a fourth generation lined up in pole position for the parade lap. Sweet looking track.
  14. 1997 Honda vfr 750f Omaha craigslist 2600. I went to check it out it had 44000 was dropped once and had a nasty crack on the mid fairing. Stock bike, old man had a closed service station full of cycles and bikes when he passed away in his 70s, daughters each claimed a cruiser and the widow has the vfr. I offered the daughter 2000 as I had no idea about the history and it was late November she turned it down. In December I got my stolen bike back I've slowly been hunting down plastic as my bike was apparently down several times 10 of 11 pieces damaged or missing so I've been on line looking a lot and saw she has relisted. They are out there. I think in the Midwest they stay hidden off the market until spring unless the seller is desperate.
  15. I can feel your pain. After 17 years on my 750 nitehawk and a year looking I got a sweet 94 vfr for 3000. Had it for a month, went riding for 6 hours on a Saturday and parked it in the shade in front of the house and forgot to put it away. Got up the next day, plan was to ride down to K.C.,someone else had a plan for the bike that they grabbed in the middle of the night. I only had liability on it and am out of luck . At this point I am afraid of what it would be like if I got it back. I'm back on the Night hawk you can imagine the step back in performance. I'm looking for another 4th or fifth generation in great shape at a great price. Damn I miss that ride.
