  1. Hell yeah, that's an incredible deal - that's what I'm talkin' about right there! More beer money! Do they have a fire pit on site for us to have some wobbly's around at night? @Randy ... which way are you heading back home? I'm thinking I might take a few extra days and visit family in Kelowna for a day. I would post some pix of fine parking in north east Oregon if I could figure out how to all photos to this site. If you make an account on www.imgur.com, then upload your pictures there, then you can link to them here. Mike: thank you for doing this!
  2. This is absolutely the BEST way to join The Single Nut Club.
  3. The VFRWorld one sold some time ago. The seller has responded to requests to take down the ad.
  4. Lots of good ideas. US bikes are out for me (too much border hassle). Lowballing that bike is a VERY good idea. I'll watch and wait. Thanks guys!
  5. And then I saw the ad for this steaming pile. He's asking a weirdly specific $1680. Am I nuts to consider buying it, swapping wheels with my 6th gen, and then trying to sell it again?
  6. +1 for Oxford. I've had mine for five years and about 40,000 kilometers. They are just now wearing out (grip, not the heat part), and that's because my Handroid gloves are chewing them up. Highly recommended, but use a relay!
  7. My Pazzo levers don't do this. There was no change in the clutch safety switch.
  8. D'oh! Me--->Idiot. Thanks for pointing that out, digitallyhip. Link has now been added. That is one of the choices. Was the connector on that flasher the correct one for the bike? What has your experience been with LED's? The connector was perfect. The bulbs, not perfect. I bought four of these.bulbs. Installation of the rears was frustrating and awkward. But they work beautifully. Installation of the fronts was simple (the front was already removed for the installation of LED headlights), but the bulbs didn't work! In fact, they would blow the turn signal fuse immediately. I contacted the vendor, thinking I had a bad bulb. The vendor explained that there are two types of 7443 bulbs and that I needed the other kind. I haven't dealt with it yet, as the incandescent bulbs work great and I wanted to ride!
  9. You didn't list either option, but this is what I bought for my 6th Gen. Simple. Perfect.
  10. That's what I bought. Apparently you have to make sure that you order the red bulbs for a red taillight lens. That's what I did and it looks just fine.

  13. One of a kind.... I made them. There are others on the market Google " Hippo Hands " As said above you don't want them to close on your hands at speed. Yes, thank you very much.
  14. Thank you all for your suggestions. Monk: who made those covers, please?
  15. I get cold hands on my VFR. I used my heated grips in Utah in September. When riding in and about 5 degrees C, with my grips (Oxford Heaterz) on max heat, my hands are okay, but my thumbs go numb. Ever tried riding with your thumbs on the same side of the grips as your fingers? Not a great idea, but somewhat warmer. And today, while searching for something else, I found this: knucklewarmers. They look like they come from Washington State, and I wonder if anyone has any experience with them, or with the company. advTHANKSance
  16. I wonder what other people are paying for the Nautilus Compact? Mine was $US54.84 shipped to Washington State (with a relay in the box), which seemed like a very good price.
  17. Unfortunately and for reason(s) that I don't understand, there is a need for the compressor to be upright. Stebel says that it needs to be within 15 degrees of vertical, or it will fail prematurely. I have mounted mine on the bolt for the original anemic horn, where it lays back perhaps 16 degrees. I have just installed my third horn. The first lasted about six months, and the second a much better 24 months. Other than the early demise, I really like the mounting spot.
