I grew up in Wenatchee and those ribbons cliffs look familiar. Was this photo taken somewhere along the Columbia River?

There's something about the white dames that makes them so photogenic... and the dark stone and earth and the crisp blue sky... and the simplicity... it's a real contender for next year's calendar....

This picture was taken somewere between Orondo, WA and Waterville, WA.

It was part of a three day trip through western Washington and BC. The quality of the pavement in the States is so much better then in Canada. Can't wait to do this identical trip again in this year!

I have a ride report on it which I should post up.
