Finleyville
Anyway... In order to track down an insidious/intermittent slow battery drain I installed a small voltmeter. Here is a little vid (not a step-by-step) of how it turned out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiWtIJ8X_9s
Member Contributer JZH Posted December 22, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted December 22, 2016 Looks good. The LEDs are so bright it's a good thing they're not directly in your sight. Btw, your battery needs a charge! Ciao,
Member Contributer CHUCK2 Posted December 22, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted December 22, 2016 What kind of sheathing is that?
Finleyville
It was standard Techflex from Partsexpress.com, although you can find it at many online stores now. It was what I had laying around. If I were to do it again I would have purchased specific heat-resistant sheathing for the job.
Member Contributer CHUCK2 Posted December 23, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted December 23, 2016 I'm considering buying some. Could you provide a link to the one you'd recommend?
Finleyville
This company below has many different choices for sheathing. Actually, the bottom choices are more wraps for exhaust systems. You can find appropriate heat shrink wrap at this site too. https://www.wirecare.com/category/braided-sleeving/extreme-temperature

Member Contributer Cogswell Posted December 24, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted December 24, 2016 If the source of the voltmeter was mentioned I must have missed it. It looks to be waterproof or at least resistant. Nice install.
