hellindustries
It was what i could get next day. And for less than the advertised price. I NEED my bike every day. It's my only transport. So, given the time constraint, it was the best option.
CandyRedRC46
Supposedly Electrix is made in the UK and makes good stuff, but that rr screams Chinese garbage. Hopefully you'll get a few years out of it before you have to go through this again.
hellindustries
They are and they do. We use them in the workshop from time to time. When needed. Quality is always good, customer service is top-notch. We've had no problems over the years. It may not look fantastic, but i'm confident in the actual quality of the unit. And even IF something goes wrong with it, i know it's backed-up with a warranty and support. They do their own R&D, i know that much. These units are for more than one bike, so concessions have to be made. I would have liked direct plug and play, but again; Time constraints. If i'd have had the time, i'd have gotten a mosfet R1 RR and done the mod. I just can not have the bike off the road for a day, let alone several plus... CandyRedRC46
You don't want direct plug and play, the rr to stator connection is a failure point. You want to solder that connection.
