Rambler358
I'd really like to use one of the available TPMS products (Fobo Bike, Garmin Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor, etc), but all I've seen so far mandate for use on metal valve stems - supposedly so the rubber stem won't flex and wear out or break over time. If metal stems can be used, any recommendations or links for them for the stock wheels? Or, has anyone actually tried using any of the TPMS caps on the rubber valve stems? dogman
I fitted 90degree metal valve stems at the first tyre change, they are just the same as all other Hondas.

Can you link to the 90 degree valve stems you got?
Member Contributer JZH Posted July 30, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted July 30, 2016 There are now Chinese knock-offs available, but I'd stick with the original Bridgeport valves (aka "Ariete"), the ones with a big "B" on the side. They're available many places, including KurveyGirl.com. Hondas take the 11.3mm version. Ciao,
Member Contributer digitallyhip Posted July 30, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted July 30, 2016 +1 for KurveyGirl and the valve stems. But: I bought red ones to commemorate my dead 2003, and they have faded pretty quickly. The old black ones on the red 2003 still look great.
