Member Contributer Mikey Posted July 1, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted July 1, 2016 Todays recommended main course at the Honda Café is Fried Stator, and our suggested pairing is roasted R/R, which may or may not stand for Roasted Regulator. Seriously though, effects leading to the replacement included lights that were not as bright as should be expected, all lights surging at idle, which is very concerning to watch and makes the bike look ill. If it had the ability to spit out a stator or R/R out the exhaust can I am confident it would have. Other symptoms included low battery voltage at all RPM's, and taking approximately 2 seconds to switch between low and high beam. Replaced the stator with a OEM Honda unit, and a new R/R was sourced from Roadster Cycle, a FH020AA and all is well again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
