Snowjoggs
Did my yearly oil change the other day and noticed two empty holes below the coolant tank on the left side. Lookin into them with a light they don´t seem to have any threads? Is it supposed to be like this or are they missing?
Member Contributer Duc2V4 Posted April 10, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted April 10, 2016 Looks like they are missing. If it looks like there are no threads, could be these bolts were snapped off in the engine casing.

Member Contributer Cogswell Posted April 10, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted April 10, 2016 If the bolts remain (presuming head snapped off), replacement might be as simple as removing the clutch slave for the upper and w/p for the lower and using pliers / vice grips to back the bolts out. With only 2 bolts on the clutch slave, the remaining two are taking an off center load when the clutch is pulled in, so definitely worth replacing before something else gives.
