Current one is almost 5 years old. Time to upgrade for the next 5 years. I figure; I now have a nice bike, i want a nice PC, and i can justify it like this (not that i need to); All the money the average person spends over 5 years of smoking, drinking, going out, on new phones, going to the cinema, and so on; I don't do those things, and the cost of a PC is likely MUCH cheaper. As for the bike, the only big things i need to do before summer are: Get the seat re-covered with something for a little more traction Wheels re powder-coated black, and while they're out; New tyres (pilot road 4) New bearings New brake pads Clutch and brake fluid flush New chain and sprockets May also take the opportunity to get the fork lowers powder-coated, but i'll see how my paint-job fairs over winter. Member Contributer VFRMAN Posted April 3, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted April 3, 2016 Just fitted mirror extenders,ful givi luggage racks now with e55 top box and e21 and e360n options as panniers, next on my list is to change the fork oil.maybe fit new springs too or put in a few more washers to increase the preload a bit? anyone done this?
