Lint
Related question. With a PC5, are you given the ability to enrich the fuel mixture at and around idle and to eliminate the closed throttle fuel shut off to allow a richer mix to eliminate the emissions issue? Knight
https://www.facebook.com/DynojetResearch/videos/557407324322252/ This is an interesting watch but the negatives are that he is modifying the mixture specifically for deceleration popping, and also his talk is generic and not for the VFR. Check out this thread: http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/topic/58306-experiences-of-a-pcv-with-autotune-on-a-2004-vfr800/ He talks about starved areas on deceleration that he found he can fix through repeated acceleration through the same RPM area. If or when the VFR cuts off fuel completely, I only suspect the PC cannot help as it interrupts the fuel, post ECU. Someone who has flashed their ECU may have specific answers for your bike as by flashing the ECU you could potentially override the fuel cutoff function. Search this PDF for "deceleration". It references Autotune with the Harley Power Vision. I cannot find similar references for other equipment such as the Wideband 2 or Autotune. This shows that when data logging it reports lean events on deceleration. This could exist on the accessories for our setups but since I cannot find it maybe this is the point to present the question to Dynojet. But also the Wide Band 2 and POD300 are accessories for tuning and for reporting the conditions. It gets expensive to connect these to the PCV. http://www.powercommander.com/downloads/support-released/power%20vision/manuals/pvautotune.01.pdf. The alternative for dynamic tuning to combat problems is your local dyno shop, where you can ask this same question.

Gelthos
So I got around to doing the pair block off and it made a difference, now I think it's a combination of new grips and the mod but it's less abrupt transitioning from closed throttle to slightly open. So now I'll start saving my pennies for the power commander.
