Member Contributer Rectaltronics Posted August 14, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted August 14, 2015 A side-swipe incident left some yellow taxicab paint on one of my 8th gen's pillion grab handles. The usual stuff like car cleaners, Honda Pro Polish, etc. doesn't seem to do anything. It seems as if some of it is embedded into the texture of the grab handle. Any suggestion on what I can use to get the yellow paint out without screwing up the finish on the affected grab handle?? Thanks! -Brad
dogman
The handles are plastic, I would try some paint thinner solvent, the plastic should be ok, and the paint should dissolve. If that doesnt work try acetone.
DriverDave
Or you could just buy a new one from Bikebandit for $40.
