  1. Thanks for the feedback Corkey, yeah I was thinking I would do something similar. thanks ChasingNolan!
  2. I just installed my new OEM stator and Jack Roadstercycle Super Mosfet Kit, I will post some pic's of the R/R/ mount I modified using the existing OEM one. My question is, since I will be running the ground and positive directly to their respective locations and NOT using the OEM connector, how are folks handling the OEM R/R connector? Leave it there with liquid tape or something else? Cut off old connector on OEM R/R and connect new R/R using OEM connector? Just looking for how others (besides this post) are handling the install. Thanks, +eb0
  3. Welcome back and nice clean looking 6th gen! +eb0

  5. Great time, thank you Ben for putting this together. Saturday was a bust but we got to hang out and drink our favorite beverages. Great ride on Sunday, had to leave on Monday so missed out on the riding yesterday. Ride home was uneventful, short and most importantly safe! Nice meeting some new people and look forward to doing it again next year! Pluseb0 aka Mike

  7. Thanks all, I went with the Maxifuse. Everything has arrived and it looks like a weekend of upgrades for me!! I will take and post some pics. +eb0
  8. I have decided it was time to replace my R/R and Stator on my 05 just to be safe. I purchased the stator from Honda so I am good there. I am looking to buy the The Super Mosfet Kit FH020AA R/R from Roadster and I had a few questions for anyone who has purchased this kit: 1. Which option did you choose, Circuit Breaker of MaxiFuse and why? 2. Does anyone have any pics of the wiring, it seems pretty straightforward but would like to see what others have done. TIA, +eb0
  9. I went this route, to secure it in the stem I simply took a 1.5" piece rubber same diameter as I.D. of stem and ran a screw threw the mount and the rubber "plug" sandwiched by two washers and nut. When you tighten the screw it compresses the rubber for a nice tight solid fit.
  10. Welcome to the VFRD group, great looking 1200. +eb0

  13. I was tempted to put this in my VFR but I read these threads a while ago and stayed away. I used water wetter and I got slight drop in temps, nothing that drastic but for less $15 bucks it was worth it: http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/topic/79969-evans-powersports-waterless-coolant/?hl=evans http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/topic/72377-waterless-engine-coolant/?hl=evans +eb0
  14. Johne, Welcome to VFRD! I recently relocated to Charlotte and I am near the Ballantyne area, not too far from Rock Hill. PM me if you ever want to meetup for a ride. I have a full service garage at my home with a lift and anything you could ever want service wise if you ever need any mechanical assistance with your 5th Gen! +eb0 aka Mike
