Member Contributer JZH Posted April 27, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted April 27, 2015 I bought my 5th-gen's Penske second-hand, and unfortunately it is leaking or otherwise knackered. I'm planning to go visit my bike in a few weeks, so I would like to get the shock rebuilt. I can swap the old OEM shock back in while I await the rebuild, but I would prefer a quick turn around so I can re-fit it before I head back to the UK. Are there any reputable suspension shops in LA/OC I can contact? Thanks. Ciao,
Member Contributer Duc2V4 Posted April 27, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted April 27, 2015 I'll ask over at OCMoto where I also frequent. I'll let you know what I get back. Cheers

Member Contributer Duc2V4 Posted April 28, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted April 28, 2015 So only a couple of riders chimed in so far but both said to call 'Tige' at Cyclemall. http://www.cyclemall.net/ One rider I know and have a lot of respect for. Also, doing a cursory search on the OCMoto forum, the only other place that was mentioned in older post was a place called RG3. http://www.rg3suspension.com/ Hope this is helpful. Member Contributer VFR Capt.Bob Posted April 29, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted April 29, 2015 I'll ask my BTE Bros. They are quite fond of Penske products.

Member Contributer JZH Posted September 16, 2015 Author Member Contributer Share Posted September 16, 2015 Btw, I ended up sending it to Ed Sorbo at Lindemann Engineering. My particular shock was an older version and had a very weak spring on it, so I agreed to have Ed install a 1,200kg one. I'm looking forward to re-installing it and going for a ride. I just don't know when that might be! Ciao,
