Couple of weeks back I had reduced the height of the seat. Now have inserted gel pad (yellow) and memory foam (pink)

Hope reduce the stress on the cheeks

Looks good. Still trying to decide what I am going to do seat wise. For every day the stock seat is fine, but on my longer trips I want something better. Might just get an AirHawk seat cover for the short term.

My buns will give feedback after a test ride...

Did think of adding the air hawk, but that would raise my seat height. Not good for a 30 inseam guy

Interested to see how this turns out as I've heard rumours that gel inserts are known for soaking up thermal energy from the sun and re-radiating it to "the boys" for a long time after, due to the higher specific heat of gel vs foam.

The gel is not in direct contact. There gel (8mm) + memory foam (8mm) + leveling foam/material (2mm) + the cover

Lot of insulation before it hit my butt

thanks Anik
