Hi All

Looking to track my vfr. Who sells rears sets for improved clearence?

Steve

I have been told that 99 and older Honda 900 RR brackets will fit VFR's then you may have more pedal options, that is if your referring to the main pedals and brackets and not the passenger pedals.

Look on ebay for CBR900RR rearsets. Only downside is, you'll need to add a few spacers if you want to retain the standard shift pattern. I have a set (ebay chinese set) and they didn't break after installing and jumping on them. I'm no lightweight either...

where would you add the spacers? Where the shifter is attached?

I'll be installing a set too

Thanks

You'll see when you bolt them up. On the shifter side, the rearset may contact the swingarm, so you add a few washers to give it clearance. I don't remember now what exactly I did w/ the linkage, I know I have to shorten the rod.

Hi All, I'm resurecting an old thread, and it's been a while since I've been on here, I'm building an RC30 replica based on a fourth gen 1997 VFR.

I've seen some cheapy Chinese rearsets that look pretty good value, could anyone comment on whether they would fit, one set is for a CBR900RR 929 http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649

and another for 954 http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649

Any help would be appreciated!

I may have a set in my spare parts like the ones in my pics.

Don't remember who made them. Came from Germany and was only able to get them threw a German VFR group purchase since the place that made them didn't make many and only when a group purchase made it worth the effort. Cost me a over $400. Make me a fair offer and I may be motivated go look for them. FYI I took them off cause the pegs don't fold up and when my bike was backed in to by a car and knocked it over my frame cracked....and just a minor scuff on the peg....so they are very strong....

Those will not fit. The rearsets that will fit are from a CBR900RR, not the CBR929RR or the CBR954RR.

It is confusing when searching, but that's just how it is.
