Veefer800Canuck
One of our members tried converting an '86 to SSSA, cut the frame, welded in a new shock mount, couldn't get everything to line up, chain, wheel centerlines, etc. He wound up cutting the frame again and going back to standard. See this link, and notice the finished pics at the bottom, bike is wearing the standard '86 swingarm. http://www.rc30.us/vfr.html

smackdoogle
Member over on VFR World, Toe Cutter, has one. Yep, if I remember correctly, for him to do what he did it required the death of a virgin and 5 miracles from assorted Gods. It can be done but Good luck! Member Contributer VF1000RS Posted April 25, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted April 25, 2012 He used a VFR800 swingarm and pretty much detailed spacers/etc needed. It seemed pretty straightforward overall.
