Member Contributer YellowFuzz Posted January 22, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted January 22, 2012 Hi all, I've had one installed on my bike for about a year now. Today when I went to start the bike, it flashed three red three times (as it's supposed to do in self-test mode) but then no other flashes of amber then green. I had it connected to my fuse block so I tested a direct connection off the battery...same thing. Has anyone had a similar failure of one of these? Sounds like I'll have to get another one. I saw a company in the UK that sells one very similiar...and about $10 cheaper. Around $17 total including shipping. YellowFuzz

Member Contributer mello dude Posted January 22, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted January 22, 2012 I looked at one of those - the green "good" range on it was 12.9 to 15.1 volts. Seems like you could miss a trend of what's happening. I decided to go with a direct voltage readout. Went with the Lascar meter..
Member Contributer realistdreamer Posted March 12, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted March 12, 2012 Any update? Thinking of going that route instead of the Lascar.
