timmythecop Posted November 30, 2011 Author Share Posted November 30, 2011 Update: voltage varied between 14.7 and 11.3 for a week. (I had some time issues and had no chance to test or fix) I put a lead on the battery for my electric vest and I now I get a consistent 12.3 at 1,100 rpm and 14.3 at speed. I guess I had a combo of slowly degrading stator and a less than perfect ground at the battery. I'll get a new stator and r/r when I do my winter maintenance.
