Veefer800Canuck
Beware that VFR 800 calipers front and rear, all years, use different sized pistons, so you would have to calculate your own total surface area independently, say of you were planning on de-linking the brakes. . Member Contributer VF1000RS Posted December 9, 2010 Member Contributer Share Posted December 9, 2010 RC51 uses 2 different size front pistons all years and early years are larger sizes than later years.
Member Contributer Vee-Ef-Ar Posted December 10, 2010 Member Contributer Share Posted December 10, 2010 Grabbed this from RC51forums.com when I saw the specs: The SP1 Has a 19mm Master Cylinder & Runs a 34/32 Piston Calipers. On the SP2, it has a 17mm Master Cylinder & Runs a 32/30 Piston Calipers. It is important to note that if you are fitting SP1 calipers, they will need to be installed with their corresponding carrier (mount)... and vice versa for SP2. This is due to offset the different sized pistons.
