Does anyone know where I can get a MR Gauge brand volt gauge (or similar) other than the one listed on eBay which is located in Singapore?

veefer800canke had somthing similar - never mind found his post and he said they went out of buisness

I personally like the simple design of the signal dynamics voltemter

One single LED display, if it is a dull green your good to go, red its discharging, flashing red your battery is about to die, yellow low charge, flashing green too much charge. Its so simple and it is not distracting at all.

•Voltage Range: 6 to 17 VDC,

•Accuracy: within 200 millivolts.

•Amp Draw: 20–85 milli-amps.

•Dimension: 2 1/4” L x 1 5/8” W x 5/8” H

•Voltage sampling: 50,000 times per second.

LED Dash Lighting the bright led on the top left of the dash is the signal dynamics led, I had been messing around with led dash lights I had drained my battery

I put one on the veefalo too, dont have a picture of it, it dulls down after a few minutes on green so its not blasting a green light at you in the dark.

Thanks HS but I really want a small digital volt gauge that can be easily mounted without having to cutting anything. That MR Gauge one seemed like it would be perfect but I don't feel confident doing business overseas though eBay like that.

Thanks AnikMankar. The Shadow meter in first picture looks interesting. Can you tell more more about it such as the size of it ? I found a website about it but no info about size, cost, etc. Why did you decide not to use it ? Would you happen to know if there is a place in the U.S. that sells them?

Its is a good product plus it is concealed. I had put it near the meters but it was standing out like a sore thumb. Size - it is pretty small...5 cm x 3cm.

Check ebay. It is Taiwan based but they do ship to the US. Here is the link

Ebay Link to Voltmeter

You can tap into Turn signal or Brake Light power source (Black/Yellow)

Good luck

Another option would be an Escort 8500. It has a voltage mode and shows current voltage. If you get hit by radar it will shift over and show you that data.

Been shopping on ebay for couple of years now via Paypal...check the vendors score and rating before you purchase. I have not faced any issues ....till now :)

Thanks again AnikMankar. I will take that into consideration.

Is it difficult to see the volt meter you have mounted while riding?

Thanks Monk. I may end up getting one of those if I can't find what I'd really like.

I noticed in your pic that you have one of those "Remove Before Flight" key rings which I'd like to get. Where did you get your's?

I also see you have exactly 12,000 mi on it at that time. Pretty cool to capture that moment with a camera. Did it just happen to work out that way while at home?

Thanks MuddDawg. I am planning on installing a RD very soon but I currently have my eye on a TPX™ Radar and Laser Detection System from http://www.adaptivtechnologies.com/gear/tpx-radar-detector

It is difficult - but you can move it a little ahead towards the meter. I can't as i have the HID unit underneath the upper cowl. So it was a tight fit.

Was trying to be funny...nothing is fool proof ...one can never now when the odds can go against you.
