I'm a new VFR owner and am considering purchasing a set of used Helibars for my 2006. The seller says they are the older "two-bolt" design. What are the differences between the two versions for the 6th gen? Thanks, guys and gals.

i have the older two bolt version and it works and clamps fine. sorry, no comparison though.

The older version has two bolts, the newer version has one.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I Have The Helibarz on mine...

Sorry though, cannot compare to stock. Simply because stock to me is like Jello, without the solidity...

HeliBars will rust. The'll last forever though...

IMO, the new design is more cosmetic, the 2 bolt design is the best less chance of slippage
