timmythecop
With a combination of space availibility/understanding wife, I rode the yellow peril to Chincoteague Island to camp with the family. Not the best ride in the world, because the roads are not remarkable, but I had fun anyway. Clinton Md to the Eastern Shore. With a throttle-rocker installed, I had no pain or discomfort at all for the first 2 hours until "monkey-butt" set in. All in all, this bike can truely do it all. 53 miles to the gallon to boot. First stop at a church that I have admired for a long time. Apparently I crossed a border. I arrived at the camping site and the oldest boy was happy to see the yellow peril It was a good place that I parked Mrs. Thecop and Owen The lonliest the yellow peril has been in weeks Unfortunatly, one of my monkeys broke the camera for the return trip, but it rained alot anyway. PS: I love this bike.
timmythecop
Forgot to mention that I misplaced my throttle-rocker for the return trip. What a difference that thing makes. I rode through rain from before the Bay Bridge to Clinton and arrived bone dry. I think I finnaly found rain gear that works, and I found the suit at the thrift store. I'm going back to camp here in September for Ocean City bike week. Anybody in?
turtlecreek
sounds like a good time with the family. so, why the yellow peril name for a black bike?
timmythecop
so, why the yellow peril name for a black bike? It was Yellow when the previous owner totaled it.
