  1. Doh! I just got my GSXR mirrors in today and missed a mighty important detail. The mounts bolt downwards where the VFR's mounts side ways. :o Thus the use of the Thurn mounting kit making it easy for Darth Bling. Oh, the road to wisdom is a long one. No worries though, I have a ME buddy whom I think would be able to make a mount in no time for the right price. :salesman: I will update when/if this works out.
  2. You have inspired me. I have seen the GSXR mirrors before and wondered if they could be mounted. And since I just found a pair for $61 after shipping off eBay you can pat yourself on the back for said inspiration. I have Lobster's extenders but I plan on doing some drilling where necessary to make this work. I really need to quit reading all these posts...I spend way too much money on "upgrades". :idea3:
  3. Dayamn!!! :o The hotness....very nice!
  4. I hate it when I plugged something I shouldn't have. Good luck.

  8. I worked as an Electronic Tech for the Coast Guard and you are right about the megger. But the megger would be a poor application for the VFR. It is used to test high voltage/current wiring systems and would most likely damage components of the VFR with the amount of output it shunts per run. For what the VFR is designed for a good multimeter (such as Fluke) is all you really need. Of course, if you found a low power version of the megger (IE under 30 amps/20 volts) you could always go that route but it would still be over kill. That's just my opinion though. To each their own.
  9. Oooooh....pretty lights. Are they just running lights? Or are you going to mod them for turn signals as well? And, most importantly, how much for a pair?
