    ....Reverse trike similar to a Slingshot or a T Rex. Custom built using a Honda VFR 800 sport bike. Constructed with tubular steel frame and fiberglass over foam. Front suspension is custom designed air with a onboard compressor and nickel platted. Dash and console is made of solid walnut. Very quick and handles like it is on rails.....

    The MV fired right up after the winter break. But...... The seal behind the generator is now leaking.... 😞 And the parts book? Sure it lists it, as "gasket". But with no dimensions The "good thing" is that while tracing the leak, I spotted a chafed wire... Just In Time I'd say.....

    It is a small world...... I put a friend in touch with a guy in Italy (Umberto) that has loads of parts for classic Mv's, via another friend of mine. To check for a side engine casing for a particualr 175. Which the guy had. With my friend retired (he is 80), he and a pal rode to Italy to pick it up and talk classic bikes... so in addition to the side case, he agreed with Umberto he would build him a 175 Disco Volante... 🙂 I'd mentioned that I was -w/o luck- looking for a front fairing stay for my Ipotesi. From the 1,991 Ipostesi's build, only maybe 75 were sold with a full fairing. Making the stays even more rocking horse shittery 🙂 Next I knew he'd dug one up that needed some TLC and we'd settled on a price. Today Umberto came back saying he'd replicate the OEM and I was given the choice. No contest, give me the "replica"!!!
