  1. Thanks. I was thinking there too. I saw an empty hole cast on each side of the lower crankcase. Is that where the EVAP mounts somehow? Kinda here... Picture.jpg I inserted a rod in between for my slider kit there, number 10, but I'm switching to Radar's kit. Greg
  2. Glad this thread resurfaced... I hung mine of the Left rear foot/bag hole bracket at least for now. This Canadian boy would like to know where the evap was, as ares' don't got one a dem :goofy: Or, has any body else with a 6th gen Abs found another spot? Greg Look on the left... 3. Canada Customs and Revenue Agency has a location in Missisauga, so they're likely buried in customs right there. Of course, nothing moves until Monday. Government at your service (not). When I've sent things to US&A, or vice versa, they often track to Mississauga and then no further. Once, the stuff showed up at the other end and it was still listed in Mississauga..... What buddy said about the package quality too!  Or maybe they get held up in Customs cuz they look TOO good and they do sorta look like a PIPE BOMB!!! OOOPS.... the Feds are already knockin at my door for that crack...
  4.  COOL!!! Is it just me or does anybody else see a Star Wars helmet out of this? I see a theme.... "USE THE FORCE LUKE!" :o
  5. Got mine today via Canaduh Snail Mail.... AWESOME PACKING JOB, RADAR!!! Very high quality, just a few questions...... what are the three bigger flat washers for? Also, for what it's worth, A brief instruction sheet might have answered this  , and although I went to the start to follow KKens' instructions, I couldn't find the washer locations anywhere. Any ideas KK?/Radar? I think those drilling spacers are gonna make this SCREWPROOF! :salesman: I'll report on the progress and if you don't hear from me, I will probably be somewhere JUMPING OFF A CLIFF, CUZ I DID SCREW IT
  6. No way man. The Ice House is perfect!!! As all in the U.S. & A. :goofy: would think we all live in Snow forts... :o As for the 'squid marks', this simply is a reference to ALL the bikers that show up in Campbellville and make trouble buyin' gas 'n coffee 'n breakfast 'n such... As for the shop being in Nashville, you could still do that AFTER you open/close one on the Main Street here (read:trendy/tourist trappy/here today, gone tomorrow shops in the rest of the town, designed to lure the urbanites from T.O. Ronto and area and buy trinkets for huge bucks and little value) But your trinkets would have value! But sooner or later, the bubble would burst once ALL VFRs have sliders, licence holders etc. and you would follow tourist trap tradition, close down, and off to Nashville!!! Nothing like having a foolproof plan AND an airtight alaby  :salesman: :squid: Hope this clears things up for ya :squid:  :wheel: :squid:
  7. AND.... fittingly, the shot was taken in front of the ICE HOUSE restaurant/variety store/gas station and otherwise general biker hangout. This nicely balances out the trendy/tourist trappy/here today, gone tomorrow shops in the rest of the town, designed to lure the urbanites from T.O. Ronto and area and buy trinkets for huge bucks and little value :goofy: Us biker types are just waiting for more of us to keep showing up until we drive the real estate down and then KKen will be able to cut a sweet deal on one of those shops for his 'Sleeman's Sliders' installation and bike junk yard parts, right on the main street!     YA... dat's it..... :squid: :squid: :squid: :wheel:
  8. Awesome   Would like to put my name in the lineup for a set with black on black. I have no issues with being number ONE on the waitng list :goofy: When you have the price/shipping/payment issues all settled out, please PM me. Much success with your endeavour!!! Greg
  9. Didn't somebody on here once post that they used black door edge moulding to hide the cut edge, putting the joining seam at the bottom of the hole, so as to hide it? Wow, I almost passed out, that was such a long sentence..... I gotta go lie down :o :wheel: :goofy:
  10. Apparently I am going to have a busy summer doing installs, if you guys can organize a weekend together I will throw in a bbq and my world famous cheesecake How's that gonna keep til it gets to Paris ON? VeeferMadness - I'll do your install with you - its a piece of cake.Even for a monkeys ass like me, we take our time, get teh Sleemans chilling, and get at it. I may have worked out an easy fix for the coolant bottle that is a little different than the corner notched out. I hope to finish minethis weekend, i'll post up my suggestion if it works Thanks KK. Maybe with all this drinkin/bullshirtin goin on, could you tell me if there's a Motel 6 or somethin nearby? :goofy: Or, we could set up a booth by the ICE HOUSE in Campbellville some weekend.... there, we'd at least have some 'test' roads around and all non-viffer/squids/hoggers would watch and be pissed off and all.... :goofy:  :idea3:
  11. THe coolant tank has to be altered, I just didn't get that part done yet. If you go to the R &G website - they show what the coolant bottle looks like after its altered. Heres how it'll look once altered. Just wondering, can you buy rad tanks like that already altered? I would definetly be in for a set once the kit is tapped/ more complete. Maybe an exchange/core program for the bolts like for starter motors/alternators on cars? Great stuff guys!! BTW, Ken, Sleemans 'Payroll Center' is conveniently located between Paris and Brampton......   :goofy:

Got this issue too. Didn't know at the time it was a VFRD unit... Just enough 'bling' to make it stand out. Besides, ya won't see another one quite like it  He chose white cuz it's more stealthy when he speeds in the snow up there in Edmonchuck 'Berta....
  13. Wrong type of gas in HIS tank! Maybe it's the flush handle.... Last one: He's the 'Horse(power) Whisperer' and he's asking his ride not to buck him off...
