  8. I'm not really sure why but I find this pic hilarious. Nice build thread though too, missed it during the run but was cool to check out now.
  9. Not really sure how I've missed this for the last nearly year. Amazing work, I'm with it now. Keep on a rollin'
  10. Congratulations on the progress made. I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this post, very interesting with some strong ingenuity all to solve a major personal difficulty. There is a guy around my part of the world with a very similar setup. I haven't actually seen the bike up close but it's kinda weird coming toward a bike in the opposite lane with nobody on the chassis and then realizing they are operating from the side car! I have to figure out where he's from and check it out. Good luck and thanks for the life inspiration as well.
  11. Is it just me or does anyone else enjoy seeing Busy's post although hate seeing too!!! Jealousy sucks...
  12. One hell of a machine and operator to get those spokes and the wheel out of one chunk, see if he can get me one for the VFR same style and witdh as the pic for under a bill. SWEET!
  13. not only is it 100% cool but with enough work it can be flammable

let's see some pics of those brake lines installed inside of the SSSA. I must have missed the orginal post regarding that mod. Seems cool though.
  15. Bought the Rim tape on ebay about 3 years ago. The seller is no longer around but there are several vendors that carry the stuff. It's very durable. Yes I would prefer the rims had painted stripes but this is very inexpensive and looks pretty good IMHO. You must be patient putting it on. It comes in 4 peices for each side. Below is a link on ebay that looks like the same as mine. It's so cheap I ordered extra. That way you will have backup (that will match). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wheel-Strip...sspagenameZWDVW Good luck. Mark Cheaper and easier yet.... Go to the local auto parts store or even wall mart and get "pin stripe" from there. It comes on a roll, not sure of how much but I did both wheels, both sides and still had plenty left over. Go slow and don't press it down until you're for sure.
  16. I think he's just stuck on where to put one as the 45 is an already compact and claustrophobic package.
  17. Looks great but where do you guys that are doing this stuff with the sticky fiber get it from? I can't find it anywhere.... Great looking work though, let me be the first to commend that fact. I've been wanting to do this to mine but....

  21. Anyone tried PVC pipe glue? It melts plastics together much like model glues do. It may very well work and nearly all hardware stores have a small bottle in the plumbing area for just a couple of bucks. Just a thought.
  22. I'm awaiting your reply Radar.... No rush but hurry!!! Damn nice work.
  23. After the wreck last July, I definately want a set. Looks to be much more precise than the R&G set I was thinking about. Topic will be tracked!!! Ken....One helluva write up, not so detailed that it seems dumbed down too far but a solid basis for someone to refer to. Thanks. Radar... I want one, PM me or I will you.....Sometime!!
