  1. 1st gen R1 or K6 GSXR600/750 forks are about as long as it's gonna get. The latter having the better internals and radial calipers. Offset is much shorter on them though
  2. Hi guys, Wondering if someone could confirm the clutch master cylinder size on the VFR1200. I can't find a single picture that clearly shows it! Thanks in advance
  3. Am I the only one who thinks it looks pretty horrible in this colour scheme? *awaits RWB owners backlash*
  4. It's the usual thing. Tonnes of internet experts in something they've never tried, let alone owned for any length of time. We're talking about a bit of metal with a pivot. It's hardly rocket science.
  5. I'm sure plenty of people who've bought ASV or any other over inflated-also made-in-china-products have had issues of some variety. The whole "don't buy anything from China" argument is so long in the tooth, irrelevant and outdated that it's almost hilarious to see armchair experts repeatedly spouting the same boring dross over, and over, and over about it.
  6. I know. Never said it was anything other than that. I've got a UK headlight from a 2006. Time will tell...I'll make it work 🙂
  7. Had Chinese levers on every bike I've ever owned (a lot) and never had an issue. It's a daft internet myth that they're anything other than completely fine for use.
  8. I'm guessing they were, only thing I've noticed is that my frame and front forks are black. Most I've seen (well, all...actually) have silver frames and front forks. Not that it's a huge difference. Quick Googlings look like that might have changed over for the 2009+ bikes?
  9. Unless I'm bring blind, I can't see a 2012 plate on cmsnl...but all the others seem the same. So I'm gonna take the risk!
  10. Thanks, already taken that into consideration and only buying from the UK. When you say essentially....is there any differences at all?
  11. Hey, I've bought a crash damaged, 2012 VFR800 Vtec. The front left headlight lens is badly damaged. Are the headlights the same from 02 to 2013? I can see the part numbers look to be the same on CMSNL - but nothing specific for the 2012 plate. On a side note, if anyone in the UK/Europe has one spare, by all means let me know and I'll buy it off you (presuming it fits!) Thanks
  12. I've been in contact with an exhaust supplier in Preston, Lancashire. Said he's up for producing loads of these if the orders are right. Why this obsession with Tyga, they're not the be all! I'll chat with him, see what figures I can come up with and take it from there. It'll be a replica of my Sebring system so will, initially, only be for a 90-93 bike. My friend up there bought my 94-97 though so I can take his bike there and the fabricator should be able to adjust accordingly. The sebring is a 4-2-1 system.
  13. I tried using plastex to form another one, which was easy, getting it to stick to the cowl wasn't. Gave up in the end. The one on the bike had a credit card and old driving license cut to shape and superglued on. Seems to have done the trick!

  15. You're massively overthinking this and that kind of money for braided lines is bloody ridiculous! I don't know if he ships to the US (or whatever) but Wezmoto make great lines and will adjust the length to whatever you want. You're not doing R&D, you're just over complicating something that's been done a million times on a bike that's as old as the dinosaurs.
