  1. Lovely colour and like the seat and carbon wing mirrors. as Swimmer says, the add-on is Honda but the main screen looks like a Givi.... novel idea but wondering what effect the add-on Honda screen has with the Givi. Try it with and without then let us know. Ride safe.

  4. I have an abba stand and use a simple car jack to lift the front.... Solid as a rock. Had both wheels off to replace tyres a while back.... No issues.
  5. ha ha.... I have left MHO on the Oracle....
  6. try this... the only thing is that they do not list the sky lift as compatible with the VFR1200. This is because they cannot attach the strap to the rear. Having said that, a heavy duty tie down strap to the pillion grab rails is known to be used but if anything were to happen, Abba would not be held responsible. Hope this helps. 7. Not related to doing anything mechanical but have you looked into acupuncture. I've had a pulled left shoulder and torn ligaments in the left inside arm at the elbow joint... worked perfectly. now I have full strength back in left arm and shoulder. worth looking into buddy.
  8. Couldn't agree more John.
  9. Just been advised that mine has passed 'the test'.... just have to wait for the replacement part to become available then..! :unsure2:
  10. So far so good... I haven't noticed any discomfort as yet and the fan tends to cut in as soon as the heat gets to half way (or there abouts) on the display.
  11. That is Tower Bridge travelling South to North of the river. At 8:45 John looks left and the next bridge up is London Bridge. In between the two is HMS Belfast.
  12. Great news... do you have a YouTube channel or are you going to upload to here.? i have the YouTube channel Flaming T (same symbol) where i post my vids.
  13. Sounds good and would be interested to see what their response to your enquiry is.
  14. Smooth but without the silly power dip. Noticeably better to ride (in my opinion) because of it. No worries mate. Where abouts in Surrey? I'll be going up boxhill at the first sign of nice weather if you're about Reigate area... Sent you a message. Let me know when you are around Rykas / Newlands.

  16. Yes sorry John was confusing you with some else who posted on the other forum about brakes sticking on. ha ha..... That would be me then
  17. I know DAM are a bit more expensive but they are superb quality, their customer service is excellent and they make a beauuuuuuuutiful noise as well as smoothing the bike out making it much more pleasant to ride. And you can always ride over the Belgium to have them fit it for free! Great weekend away to boot! Just a thought cos I love mine. That is soooo tempting to do. I have looked into the DAM and yes, it is more expensive but just on looks alone, could be worth it. I'll be doing more reading up on the options available before I 'pull the trigger'.
  18. Thanks Buddy... appreciate your honesty... I don't want to waste my hard earned cash that the Wife is allowing me to spend.!
  19. Hi guys Looking for some insight on this item. Am considering buying a nearly new (1 month old) can from ebay. Before I go all in, can anyone advise please if this can will be perfectly ok to run without any other modification. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  20. A couple of pics showing the case and how it's mounted then I have a power source fixed to the fairing on the right and then zip tied the excess cable to the cabling off the right handle bar. Perfect for what I need. Sorry... One last point. The Yolk mount is specific. See link below.. http://www.telferizer.com/products/ Hope this all helps
  21. I am using my old Tom Tom that I had in the car and I mount it on the yoke using RAM mounts and a cheap carrier off eBay.. I'll take a pic and post it for you
  22. A great custom paint job on the Vffr... congrats.

  24. ha ha... Chanmenie / Gaffa22, i've been busted. . I also have the YouTube channel 'Flaming T', (picture of a 'T' in red flames on black background.... long story as to how I got the nickname 'Flaming T' but I do have the t-shirt..!), where I post the odd video ride outs.... just getting started on this as a bit of a hobby in making/editing videos. I just have the bike stand which is good enough for my needs. Basic maintenance, cleaning and standing in the garage when not in use etc. such a simple solution. I did think about getting the Skylift but was a bit out of the price range for me and didn't think that I would use it for it's full potential.
