  1. They are made by U.S. General. Aren't they made in the U.S.?
  2. I use this set from Harbor Freight for installing bearings.
  3. Even if it is out of warranty, I would file a complaint with Honda. You never know. They have reps with policy money and could always get an engine out of the deal because of the low mileage. Or maybe 1/2 the cost of a new one or something. It's worth a shot.
  4. I think I'd be contacting Honda directly on this one.

  11. My girlfriend ended up buying an Ear Cannon from Aerostich for $40 for her 2000 VFR. It came in a Stebel box though, so I guess they are the same thing. Supposed to be 139 db.

  15. I just put an Ear Cannon (which came in a Nautilus box) on my girlfriend's VFR. It was $40 plus shipping from Aerostich. Came with the relay and mounting bolt. No wiring or anything though. You could buy that for an additional $12.

    My dash

:+1: Integrated looks great. I wouldn't want the indicator tacked on somewhere like it normally is, but the integrated looks great.

  23. do you still have the heli's? Looks like the seller has a 2007 (6th gen) and you have a 5th gen. Beware, the fork tubes are different diameters and his will not fit your bike.
  24. Okay, thanks. I knew there were stator problems, but didn't realize the flywheel would "wear" and need to be replaced as well. Maybe it looses magnatism?? I don't think it actually touches the stator, does it??
  25. Just curious, why was the flywheel replaced?? Was it damaged somehow?? I didn't see any reason in the write-up.
