  1. A voltmeter saved me from being stranded in Montana. These little devices are worth 10 times their weight in gold. I have a blue LED one and it works great. Too bad our bikes need one. I am about ready to divorce my VFR over numerous electrical issues.

    Bonneville Ride

Rode my F4i on the salt flats in late May of 2007. There was so much salt caked into the bike I am sure their is still some in there. No amount of washing would get it all out. Couldn't do speed runs on the salt flats then, it was too soupy. It was very mushy that time of year.

Might be the angle but that looks like all the fun of carrying a passenger without the talking! Those bags are HUGE!

  12. Beautiful. Looks like you are the only person for hundreds of miles. Nice luggage setup, do the saddle bags scratch the fairing?

The painted hills in Oregon. Ran into this on the way back from the MotoGP. http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&saddr=4...mp;t=h&z=16

  14. That's hilarious! I am sure the gentle sounds of the Vtec engine would lull your son to sleep. Any picture these days that does not show baby in the arms of mom gets nothing but bad feedback. It's a wonder how the human race made it to the era of baby carriages and car seats.

    Riding nirvana!

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&a...425377&z=12 Almost all of the roads/highways between hwy 1 and 101 are just amazing. Were talking race track smooth, cambered corners, amazing scenery. I just finished a 3000+ mile road trip to the MotoGP and back, I will have details of the trip posted soon.

  17. We need more details on this!!! My bike has been running GREAT since I got the recall work done. Hopefully this won't happen to me.
  18. Just got my bike back from the Honda Dealer! It runs GREAT! The lights are brighter, it starts up faster, and is more responsive. I gave it a good rip up a big hill and it seems like it is giving me 110%. On Monday I will be spending some track time with it, I am sure I will be satisfied. I love my VFR again. I do have to mention that the wait time I had was unacceptable. The dealer I had to deal with was just as bad. For that reason I will never buy a Honda again. It's BMW K1200S or bust! I hope other people have had (and will) better experiences with this process than I did. California here I come!
  19. Add me to the list of back orders. I bought my 04' VFR last July and never called Honda to get my address on file. I missed the recall letter and found out about it when it was too late. I was 250kms away from home when my bike just died. All the wiring is fried and my battery is completely dead. It was an expensive tow ride home. The bike is now at a Honda Dealership waiting for that new wiring harness. I called Honda Canada to ask about a new battery and received quite a rude response! I finally asked to speak to someone else and he just put me on hold to talk to someone. Once he came back on the phone he was much nicer about it and the battery might be covered. I am worried about my stator and my RR as well. Sounds like everyone else managed to get the recall completed before they ran into any problems. I am hoping to get my bike back soon as I am taking a race course with it. If I am miss this course I am going to have to wait until NEXT YEAR to take it. That would be really frustrating. I have yet to start my 2008 riding season! grrrrrrrrr
  20. Thanks for all the great comments! What's this calendar you speak of? This picture was taken somewere between Orondo, WA and Waterville, WA. Google Map http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&a...e=UTF8&z=13 It was part of a three day trip through western Washington and BC. The quality of the pavement in the States is so much better then in Canada. Can't wait to do this identical trip again in this year! I have a ride report on it which I should post up.

Did a Long Haul trip to Arizona on a F4i. Perfect bike for the trip but not so perfect comfort.
