DH82A 6 Posted February 26, 2013 Thanks :-) The VFR has just clocked up 100,000km, so it was time for a wee overhaul. I followed mellowdude's writings and purchased the VTR1000 fork lowers off ebay, as well as the CBR600 F4i brake setup. Fitted .90 springs (I weigh 82kg). Initially it did feel a bit choppy but once the pace got faster, it was so close to perfect I thought that I had better not touch it. Fitted the Akrapovic that used to be a slipon on my 2000R1 but was just lying in the garage once I went to a full system. There is a 929 rear shock in there (another ebay special) that I had regassed and a slight modification to the high speed rebound. Quote Link to comment

DH82A 6 Posted February 27, 2013 My favourite (other than the VFR) is the NSR250 down the back, I should post a photo. It is my mc28 with an R6 front end, Tyga Movistar fairings and a 300 kit. Finished as a Kato replica. The RC30 is kind if the VFRs grandad and is still sublime as a roadbike Quote Link to comment
