Oil pan replacement on a 5 Gen

I'm pretty sure I know the answer but will ask anyway in case I'm wrong. If one was to replace the oil pan on a 5 Gen (Due to the fairing stays being part of the oil pan). Does one have to lower or remove the headers? Something tells me there isn't enough room between the oil pan and headers to remove it without moving the headers out of the way.

Cheers

Correct - the oil pump intake is near the bottom of the pan.  The pan needs to come down just about the height of the pan to clear the pump intake.

That was my recollection, just needed confirmation. Thanks for the response.
