Member Contributer Woodie Posted October 27, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted October 27, 2016 Sorry to sound a bit of a Numpty but has anyone posted a Cam Chain Timing guide on here. I may not need it but I'd rather be prepared in case it all goes wrong! I've mooched around a bit and can't seem to find one. Lots of threads suggesting cam chain timing as a fault/fix but no links to how to? or is it in the downloadable service manual on here? many thanks in advance. Member Contributer Grum Posted October 28, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted October 28, 2016 Service manual will certainly have Cam Chain Timing guide. Just remember when replacing CCT's DO NOT turn the engine over with them out. (No reason or need to anyway).

As this has gone spectacularly on me I want to check the timing statically before I fire it up again to make sure it hasn't jumped a tooth or two while the CCT was slack.
