Snapdragon
Apologies if this has been covered but the forum search function is not working on my Samsung tablet. I'm re-installing the fuel tank on a 2003 VFR 800 and there's this thin cable my Haynes manual calls a Raise-Limit Line. One end attaches to the frame but where does the other end go? And is it important? Appreciate any help. Thanks
Member Contributer boOZZIE Posted October 12, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted October 12, 2016 under the front of the tank. I suggest to you to goto the download section for the operators & service manuals. Service manual has pictures Hey 1st post, where's a picture of ya bike? Member Contributer KevCarver Posted October 12, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted October 12, 2016 Only thing it does is limit how high you can raise the tank. Seems like Honda felt that was an issue around 2002 or thereabouts. My '03 ST1300 had one, but I don't think any 5th Gens or previous had one. If you don't have the bolt that holds it to the tank, I wouldn't bother with it.
