skulkerboyo
Noticed this when having a sqizz at the underside yesterday - seems like it's frayed enough to be in danger of getting damaged. What is is and can I just cover it in sugru or should I replace?

Member Contributer Mohawk Posted August 10, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted August 10, 2016 The fraying is just the outer heat/anti-chaffe cover, it is fine the way it is. DO not you sealant on the connector to cable (i.e. around the frayed area) the heat cycling will draw in any moisture via the cover & start to corrode the connector. As it is it is self venting & mine has looked like that almost from the factory & definately for the 6 years I have owned the bike. Leave it alone !
