Any Friendly Machinists in the UK?

I used to have one of those old-style machine shops near my house, the ones with the ancient Bridgeports, dirty floors, a couple of old guys hiding amongst the scrap metal mountains... I used to love going in there with my little jobs--they never turned me away.  But it's been converted into a block of flats for some time.  Now I've got a couple of things I really need a mill or lathe to do.  Anyone "know a guy"?
