Honda accomplished re-tuning of the engine in part with this new exhaust header. Prior models combined cylinders 2+3 and 1+4. The 2014 model combines cylinders 2+4 and 1+3. They also did away with the 2nd O2 sensor. I had occasion to get up and personal with the header recently when I installed the OEM center stand. The exhaust has to come down to install the right hand center stand bolt into the frame. It's a top quality piece. Just what you'd expect from Honda for the VFR. Was just interested in the routing of the downpipes. I've had my 5th Gen & 6th Gen pipes off so many times that I wondered how they got the pipes with that cylinder combination. No biggie m8.
