Member Contributer MaxSwell Posted July 12, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted July 12, 2015 I want to remove the rear subframe from my 2000 VFR. There are two fuse holders attached to the front of the battery cover. I cannot figure out how to pop them off. I can see how they attach but cannot figure the release procedure. Which way to the white and black parts release? front: reverse: Thanks in advance for the help Max
Member Contributer KevCarver Posted July 12, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted July 12, 2015 I tried like heck myself and couldn't do it. I think I figured out it was easier to remove that panel from the battery box. Good Luck!

If youth gets stumped, I feel better.

Member Contributer MaxSwell Posted July 13, 2015 Author Member Contributer Share Posted July 13, 2015 I went back and looked more thoroughly and in better light and solved the problem. There are catches and releases. The fuse holders come out toward the top. Pics of the stuff: battery cover catches: battery cover front: battery cover reverse: black fuse holder release: white fuse holder release: I used some force to pry them out (up) and bending the cover to look down the center of the connecting rails reveals the solution. So this time old age and cunning whips youth and enthusiasm.
