Member Contributer Skids Posted April 4, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted April 4, 2015 Hi, please excuse my electrical ignorance. Can someone confirm that the TomTom Rider (it's a new, widescreen one) requires a 12v supply? My VFR1200 came with a pre-installed supply but the website for the connector, here, says that it is a 5v supply. I assume that this would not work if the TT requires 12v. Does anyone have a link to any help files or videos for removing the fairing/tank etc in order to run a new power supply from the battery to the headstock area? Thanks in advance. Member Contributer Skids Posted April 4, 2015 Author Member Contributer Share Posted April 4, 2015 All sorted now. Thanks to RoystonRocket2 for his advice. Removed the existing wire, fed through the TT wire from front to back, and connected via the headlamp power feed so a switched power supply too.
