PhotoOp
Has anybody tried this stuff yet? If it works like advertised its like ultimate waterproofing. It doesnt really rain here so not sure what id use it for but im tempted to get some and play with it anyway. http://youtu.be/DZrjXSsfxMQ
Guest
A buddy of mine did his own demonstration, and has a video on youtube somewhere. He put it on one of his work boots, and then put both under a faucet just to show the difference. He says it works extremely well.

marriedman
I'd be interested in how well a shirt/pants/jacket breathes after using that stuff. And how do you wash it? There are plenty of dry substances that make an article of clothing dirty.
Member Contributer Rice Posted July 19, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted July 19, 2013 it looks like it could waterproof my riding jacket, which is only waterproof to a point. After a while, it gives up and I get soaked w/o the rain gear... On second thought, read up some reviews on Amazon... I'll pass for my application. Crewwolfy
I've read some articles on this. Apparently it works very well, for a very short time. When it expires, it flakes off in a white powder. A temporary solution for your garage floor just before you work on the bike, perhaps. For treating your gear, not so much..
